About Us
AJS Electrical Contracting is a Bathurst based, locally owned company that was established in 1992 to provide premium electrical and communications services to the local business community.
Our company is structured to undertake large industrial and commercial projects with jobs to the value of $2.2M having been successfully completed. The annual turnover for the past three years has been between $5M and $8M.
Projects have been undertaken in various industries, including mining, manufacturing, power generation and distribution, commercial outlets, warehouses, education and health facilities.
We currently employ over 45 qualified tradesmen along with 9 capable apprentices and office staff to ensure that every project operates to the clients’ satisfaction and meets all regulatory and statutory requirements.
On all projects undertaken, AJS adopts three basic priorities:
- SAFETY: The first priority is always the safety of our employees and others at the work site. AJS has an audited OH&S System which complies with the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2000.
- QUALITY: The quality of our work is exceptional and we strive to exceed our customer’s requirements and expectations at all times. A project specific quality assurance plan is developed for each job in accordance with AS/NZS 9001.
- EFFICIENCY: Efficient work practices enable us to be competitive
whilst maintaining quality of workmanship and customer service.

AJS is a member of the Electrical Contractors Association. As a member we maintain their professional Standard of Practice and Code of Ethics.
