Kelso Pub Refurbishment

Client: Bremar Commercial Building Contract

AJS undertook the complete design and installation of new lighting throughout. Predominantly low voltage 50 Watt gimbles were used. A total of 110 lights were installed in the 2 front bars, the poker machine lounge and the bistro area.

All lighting was designed to be dimmable via a Clipsal C-Bus system. All installation and programming was carried out by AJS. The system has been installed so that the lights can be automatically controlled if required in the future.

Uplights were installed in various locations to improve the atmosphere and to highlight some areas.

Coachlights were installed along the front verandah to improve the lighting in this area.

Power was provided to four air conditioning units in bar/bistro areas and to all refrigeration units behind the main bar and in the bottle shop area.

All power circuits were rewired with a total number of 56 power points being installed.

Additional phone and data points provided.

Relocation of poker machines required power/data.

All work was carried out while pub was still trading. This required all lights and power to be maintained.
